I knew it was too good to be true!

Jimmy Boy & Zeke
Thanks, Newsday, for ruining my f#$king day, not to mention, my life:
James Dolan will not stand in the way of Donnie Walsh removing Isiah Thomas as the Knicks’ head coach, according to a team source, but Dolan has made it clear that his “preference” is to keep Thomas on the sidelines.

“There isn’t a basketball executive alive who would keep Isiah as head coach, but Jim is telling whoever he interviews, ‘I would prefer to keep Isiah but you do what you have to do,’” said the source, who is close to Dolan, the Garden chairman. “If Isiah isn’t the coach, Jim still wants him to stay in the organization in some capacity.”

Even one Knicks player said Wednesday that it’s time for Thomas to go. “If they’re going to keep him here, you can’t keep him as the coach,” said the player, before the Knicks held on to beat the woeful Miami Heat, 103-96 in overtime, Wedmesday night. “That won’t work. He can’t come back and coach the team.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the greatest threat facing mankind in the 21st Century– nepotism. Not only is it responsible for getting all your wealthy, deadbeat pals from college cushy internships that led to dead-end jobs ’cause their dad’s buddies didn’t want to promote their friend’s mentally deficient offspring (well, at least most of the time), but it’s also given us the worst president in history this side of Jimmy Carter (Dubya) and now it’s produced a team owner so lacking in brain matter, he doesn’t even flinch when he shoots himself in the foot over and over again, let alone when he sticks another nail in the Knicks’ coffin. I mean wow, just wow… just… yeah, wow, I’ve got nothing else.

  • Perhaps you’ve forgotten how motivational it could be to have Isiah on the sideline…he could rattle the other team’s cheerleaders by calling them bitches…well not all of them of course, just the ones who would expect to have that kind of vocabulary used when being addressed by a man like him (can’t get too much into detail without seeing the PC line drawn in the sand and PeePee-ing all over it)
