A few weeks back when Bill Simmons wrote this article (basically comparing the ‘07 Pats to the ‘86 Celtics), I had a conversation with my buddy that went something like this:
Me: You see Simmons jinx the Pats?
My Buddy: No, wha… oh yeah, the ‘86 Celtics article?
Me: Is he on f@#%ing crack?! Has every Boston sports fan lost their mind?!
My Buddy: Damn man. (classic subdued response)
I guess this is what you get when you root with Beantown.
